Having completed numerous intervention sessions, revision classes, mock exams and their actual GCSEs, Year 11 were finally able to let their hair down and celebrate at their End of Year Prom.
Porsches, Ferraris, Mustangs, motorbikes and even an HGV lorry were just some of the ways that the students arrived at the event held at the Grand Station in Wolverhampton. All of the students looked amazing and they’ve certainly changed from when they first arrived in Year 7!
Even though the prom marked the end of an era for the year group, some traditions had to remain and it was only fitting that the room was decorated in ‘their’ purple colour.
The resident DJ was on hand to make sure that the dancefloor stayed filled however, the highlight of the evening was undoubtedly the guest appearance of Mr Beason and his band. They stole the show and had the venue rocking with the songs they had specially selected for this performance.
It was a wonderful evening and a fantastic way to celebrate their time together at St Thomas More. We wish all of our students the very best for the future.
