West Midlands Youth and Crime Commissioner

Good afternoon,

Anyone in the 6th form or returning to 6th form – what an opportunity we have to share with you.  Walsall in looking for extra representation in the team for West Midlands Youth and Crime Commissioner.

Youth Commissioners represent young people across the West Midlands. They are aged 18 and under. The job of the Youth Commissioner is to advise the Police and Crime Commissioner on issues affecting them and their peers.

Each Neighbourhood Policing Area has two elected Youth Commissioners serving two year terms.

This has only just been shared with us and has a short deadline  of the 18th June – however still worth a look!

The link here takes you to more information and the link to apply.  Make sure to let your tutor know if you have applied!

Good luck

Mrs S Roberts
