Wearing of masks

Dear Parents and Carers, I am sure that you will be fully aware that Covid rates of infection are rising significantly over recent days and weeks.

With that in mind I would welcome your support in encouraging your child to wear a face mask whilst in school, especially in high density areas such as our school corridors, Form rooms and classrooms.

I appreciate that this is not a stipulated regulation issued by Public Health or central government but feel it might support maximum student and staff attendance and freedom from infection during these last weeks of this school term not to mention supporting any families hoping to commence summer travel and holidays as soon as our six week holidays commence.

We will continue to use hand sanitiser and to sanitise common areas as we have been doing over recent weeks and months.

Please do not hesitate to contact me should you wish to discuss any of the enclosed further.
