Sixth Form Open Evening

Dear Parents,

We are anticipating that our Sixth Form Open Evening will be a popular evening with many Year 11 students and families joining us to discuss the benefits of staying at our school. To help us maintain social distancing and ease the volume of parents and students coming through the school at particular points, we would request that you attend the evening at the designated times shown below.

We have ensured that these allocated times will still allow you time to listen to the talks given by the Headteacher and Sixth Form Pastoral staff, visit subject areas and departments and speak to subject leads and a variety of students currently studying these subjects.

Students and families from form groups 11G, 11O, 11D, 11S, 11E and external students to attend the times indicated below –

5:00pm – 6:00pm – Subject Information Sessions in classrooms

An opportunity to discuss subject option choices with Sixth Form subject staff

6:05pm – 6:30pm – Presentation on the Sixth Form in the Hall

A short presentation detailing the importance of continuing education and details of courses and enrichment activities offered in our Sixth Form which will be delivered by the Headteacher and the Head of Sixth Form.

Students and families from form groups 11R, 11V, 11A, 11N and 11T to attend the times indicated below –

6:30pm – 7:30pm – Subject Information Sessions in classrooms

An opportunity to discuss subject option choices with Sixth Form subject staff

7:30pm – 8:00pm – Presentation on the Sixth Form in the Hall

Yours faithfully
