Physics taster session for Year 11 students

Budding A-Level physicists from St Thomas More Catholic School’s Year 11 attended an after-school taster session for post-16 physics study at Edgbaston High School for Girls in Birmingham.

The students conducted experiments that are usually delivered alongside the oscillations area of study by the physics staff at the school. Experiments even included a super-size human swing which was used to investigate the effect a length of string and mass would have on the time period of a pendulum.
