Message from the headteacher

Dear Parents and Carers,

It was wonderful to welcome back our students across each year group and all three key stages yesterday. Thank you for your support in ensuring that students returned in full and correct school uniform inclusive of our expectations regarding appropriate footwear, make up, jewellery and nails.

It was also most encouraging to see our students bring expected equipment with them and in addition the number of them who had personal supplies of tissues and hand sanitiser. This will be most helpful in encouraging and sustaining the correct and necessary standards of health and hygiene most needed at present and for the foreseeable future.

Our students deserve to be praised and recognised for the positive and proactive manner in which they listened to and observed current restrictions around the building whilst entering and exiting the building, whilst on break and lunchtime and whilst in their learning hubs. This is very much as a consequence of the detailed conversations we know have happened at home with yourselves in preparation for our return.

We continue to review our provision on a daily basis and will monitor and respond to guidance as appropriate. As always, we will provide regular updates on our website and social media pages for your attention and discussion at home.

Thank you again,

Mrs Bowen
