We are pleased to share with you our revised documentation with regard to Homework and our expectations here at St Thomas More Catholic School. You will be able to find here on this page relevant documents to support your child or children in differing year groups with work outside of school. Our family support guide, newly created, aims to give you some background on what we are doing and why. Alongside, support and frequently asked questions, top tips and relevant weblinks. You will also find relevant links here on this page to help, along with links to the individual year group timetables.
In case of any issues logging into our homework and timetable platform, please find a link to the support request area we have created for your convenience. You will find links to SMH – Show My Homework here too, along with links to help you find the APP and to download it on your phone.
The aim has been to spread the distribution of tasks across the week, as best as it can be within the constraints of the timetable, some days there will be a number of pieces to hand in and other not. We are going with a day to HAND IN your work for the pupils. We have aimed to be as specific as possible lower down in school and Year 7 and 8 pupils have days as specific as to which set they are in for subjects. If you are unsure which set they are in this will be on their timetable. If you are unsure of their timetable, please check SMH as it has their timetable on there for them and you to see. If you are unsure please get in touch.
We also are pleased to offer for anyone not already using the opportunity, the facility to come to either homework club or study support sessions in school, Monday, Tuesday and Thursday from 3-4pm. This can be booked in easily. Please contact the Postbox at school to do so.
If you have any questions please do get in touch.
