Dear Lord,

As this school year is coming to an end, I want to thank you for letting me meet new friends and spending more time with my family. I am proud of myself for still working hard during this horrible pandemic. I am grateful for this because I have made new bonds with people and experienced different things.

Another thing I am grateful for is lockdown, in a weird way I am grateful for it because it’s giving me time to grow as a person and find who I really am.

In the next school year I am looking forward to making even stronger bonds with people because I haven’t seen anyone for a long time so things might have changed about them.

Lord/God,

Through these difficult times, I remain focused on getting my schoolwork completed to the best of my abilities.

I am pleased that in the last year I started attending St Thomas More, even though I missed my teachers and friends from primary school. I have made new friends and the teachers are really nice at St Thomas More.

My life is valuable because, I’m a part of a world where everyone’s life should be valued. We should all be treated equally and respectfully.

I look forward in the next school year to lockdown ending and finally getting the chance to go back to normal lessons. I can’t wait to see my friends and teachers again.

Prayer from Samarjit.

Dear God,

Thank you for helping everyone during this Coronavirus pandemic and please keep doing so. I am grateful to you for you have gave us the strength, courageousness and have helped us to not get disheartened, but gave us the ability to cooperate and find a solution during this time of need. I also am grateful to you because you have helped us believe, have hope and kept us together.

I wish that things can go back to normal and that we think of this as a learning experience and acquire and think about the life lessons that we gained from this like to always stay as one and support each other.

Please stay by those who have died and those who have lost a loved one. I also request that you help us find a solution to this virus and that it ends. Please help us always love each other and help us to make the world the way you want it to be.

Amen
