Subject supports the whole school curriculum intent statement by ensuring:

To gain a greater understanding of how to be respectful and embrace other cultures and societies as we travel the world.
To use reading to develop a gain a greater understanding of the world of Travel and Tourism.
To give students the opportunity to enter employment in the travel and tourism sector or to progress to vocational qualifications such as the WJEC Level 3 Applied Diploma in Tourism.
To give learners the opportunity to develop a range of skills and techniques, personal skills and attributes essential for successful performance in working life.
