Black Country Radio: Vaccinations Q&A

Good morning, I hope you are all well. Firstly, I wanted to thank you for your support over recent weeks. There have been a number of matters recently where I have sought your help and as usual it has been given in good spirit and in an unlimited manner.

Secondly, knowing that many of you still have a number of questions with regards to the Covid vaccinations currently being offered to all school children years 12-15 I thought that the following opportunity might help you in receiving the further clarification you wish to have.

This evening,12th October,  Black Country and West Birmingham CCG are hosting a live Q&A with Black Country Radio for parents / carers of 12-15 year olds on the COVID-19 vaccination. Parents / Carers will be able to find out more on the vaccinations for 12-15 year olds including:

  • why the jab is being offered
  • how consent will be sought
  • what happens on vaccination day

Time: 18:00pm

Date:  Tuesday 12 October

Host: Clive Payne.

Tune in to 102.5FM, DAB or listen online at http://blackcountryradio.co.uk/radioplayer  to hear it live.

I hope you will find the above detail helpful.

Please remember that as per the information provided for me yesterday by the Operations Manager who oversaw the vaccination session which took place and the update published yesterday morning on our social media, vaccinations will now be administered via The Saddlers Centre in Walsall during prearranged vaccination clinics, the times of which will be issued in due course via Walsall Secondary Schools.

Thank you and please do take care.

God bless,
