On Thursday last week Mr Richard Smith, Diocesan Adviser for Catholic Education (Secondary) visited school and spent the morning with our RE Department. Headteacher’s notice – 6 March 2020

Hello, should you have been in to school over the last week you will notice that the display in our reception area has changed to reflect the season of Lent. Our parish notices have been printed on purple paper. Our Lenten prayer hearts decorating our prayer tree are printed on purple card and our display table is covered in purple material. The reason for using purple is because it is the colour used in the Catholic Church to denote a period of reflection and preparation. In this instance we, as a school community, have commenced our six week period of reflection in preparation for the celebration of Easter. Continue reading …
