Poppy display in hub

On Tuesday 10th November, students in Years 7 – 10 participated in our first British Values Day here at St Thomas More. Students were ‘off timetable’ for the day to complete activities linked to the four key values of: democracy, liberty, mutual respect and rule of law.

We look forward to any opportunity to recognise the achievements of our students whether that be their academic successes, their emotional well being, their care of others, their commitment to the very unique ethos of our school or their compassion for those in our local or global community who look to us for support, encouragement and care.

Each year, as part of our transition process we offer the amazing opportunity for new Year 7 students to partake in our Summer School programme.

Dear Parents/Carers,

Thank you for your support during these first few weeks of the new term. We are delighted with the manner in which our students behave both in and around school and on their way to and from school.

You will remember that at certain points last year we included a Good Samaritan article in More News which focused on the exemplary and altruistic behaviour of individual members of our student body or indeed particular groups.
