St Thomas More Catholic School held a service to remember the fallen and honour their own heroes.
On Tuesday 10th November, students in Years 7 – 10 participated in our first British Values Day here at St Thomas More. Students were ‘off timetable’ for the day to complete activities linked to the four key values of: democracy, liberty, mutual respect and rule of law.
We have now launched our annual shoe box appeal in support of the work of Samaritan's Purse.
Last weekend the Year 11 geographers went to Aberdovey in Wales as part of their Controlled Assessment.
Well done to Eggus, Eggward and students who completed the "Egg drop challenge".
The Rosary Prayer Group will meet every Tuesday during Form Time in G15. It is for Year 7 students only..
Each year, as part of our transition process we offer the amazing opportunity for new Year 7 students to partake in our Summer School programme.
During Year 10 work experience a group of students produced beautiful artwork that has now been mounted in our library.
You will remember that at certain points last year we included a Good Samaritan article in More News which focused on the exemplary and altruistic behaviour of individual members of our student body or indeed particular groups.
St Thomas More Catholic School GCSE students were celebrating outstanding GCSE results today, which have increased again on last year’s figures.
