Sixth Form students have been invited to attend our Sixth Form Induction Days on Monday 25th, Tuesday 26th and Wednesday 27th June. Attendance to this event is compulsory as it gives students an excellent opportunity to meet subject staff and other Sixth Form students. It also provides an important introduction to sixth form life.

As a parent/guardian with a child about to enter the Sixth Form, we would like to take this opportunity to invite you to an informal meeting to be held on Monday 25th June at 4.30 p.m. This will give us an opportunity to explain in more detail specific issues arising in the Sixth Form as well as enabling you to ask any further questions you may have. The following topics will be covered:

  • Expectation of conduct and behaviour
  • Work ethic
  • Subject choices
  • Dress code
  • Enrichment opportunities
  • Opportunities available after Sixth Form, e.g. Higher Education, Apprenticeships, Employment.
  • 16-19 Bursary

It has been proven that students are more likely to achieve when parents work alongside the school and are involved in their child’s education. It is for this reason that we stress the importance and value of attendance to this evening.
