Post-inspection treats for students

Our students have enjoyed a treat as a ‘thank you’ for their continued hard work and good behaviour which helped us to get a positive result from our Diocesan inspection last week.

The Feast of St Thomas More

This week we celebrated the Feast Day of our patron, St Thomas More. We were fortunate enough to have the Soli Team for a retreat day which ended with the celebration of mass.

New School Chaplain

I am delighted that the school has appointed a new school Chaplain, Fr Martin. This is wonderful news for our Catholic community, allowing us to have more regular masses within school.

As we come to the end of anther very busy half-term I would like to thank you for your ongoing support.

We are sad to say goodbye to our Year 13s but wish them all the very best for their results and life beyond our school; God has a plan for each and every one of you; you are all known and loved.

We have started the written exams. Our exam groups in Years 11, 12 and 13 have made a very positive start to their exams and are approaching them calmly and in a well-prepared manner. Well done to all - we are very impressed by your maturity and dedication.

Remembrance Service 2017

At 11am on Friday 10th November 2017 students and staff at St Thomas More paused to commemorate the First World War.

Anti-Bullying and Good Samaritan Week 

This week staff and students marked both Anti - Bullying and Good Samaritan Week in school.

MacMillan Coffee Morning
