On these beautiful summer days, people seem to be happier and the world looks a more beautiful place. When teaching philosophy in my former role as an RE teacher, we used to examine ‘the aesthetic principle’ as one of many proofs of God’s existence, the fact that the world is so stunning, much more so than it needs to be, is one of the ways in which we can see God the Creator in our lives.

During the hot weather, students do not need to wear blazers but all other normal rules apply. Please be careful in the sun, wear sun screen and stay in the shade. The sun is very powerful at this time of year

Today we look forward to our Year 11 Prom and giving our green tie year the celebration that they deserve for an outstanding year.

Remembrance Service 2017

At 11am on Friday 10th November 2017 students and staff at St Thomas More paused to commemorate the First World War.
