Year 10 art students attended the Botanical Gardens in Birmingham on the 14th May. The purpose of the visit was to make drawings and take photographs for their art GCSE coursework project.
Fifty-four students attended and despite the wet weather and one student dropping their phone in the fish pond, students were able to make drawings in the tropical, palm and cactus houses and collected lots of information to use back in school.
Following the visit, Tailer Turner 10KAW said she found the gardens ’very inspiring and the drawings and photographs done would help a lot with course work’
Some of the students who attended are pictured here with examples of their work.
