It is part of the tradition of the Church, arising from the practice of our Jewish forebears, that every 25 years the Holy Father declares a Holy Year of Jubilee.

Last week, all of the Year 9 German pupils went to the Frankfurt Christmas Market in Birmingham to sample the German food specialities and to practise their German language skills.
