“He who knows others is wise. He who knows himself is enlightened.” (Lao Tzu)

If we are asked to just be ourselves we might find the idea quite challenging. Who am I? In fact how do I even begin to answer such a question? Yet, God is constantly seeking ways of reminding us that we are, without any effort on our part, His creation and precious in His eyes. That at the heart of every one of us the same God lives. To seek to answer the question is to allow God to work through us and to be present in the everyday, ‘ordinary’ events of our lives and the lives of those we meet.

Psalm 139

It was you who created my being, knit me together in my mother’ s womb. I thank you for the wonder of my being, For the wonders of all your creation.
