‘Where two or more are gathered together in my name. There I am in the midst of them’. (Jesus).

We come together as a school from all sorts of backgrounds but with one thing in common – our humanity shaped by Jesus. It is our coming together in the name of Jesus that makes our school a Christian community. He provides us with the values that guide the way we live and learn together. Our life in community is one of the most important areas of our lives. Community life can bring with it great challenges and the beginning of a new year in school is a good time to think about that. In school we will learn how to get on with others, how to deal with frustrations, how to forgive and be forgiven, how to give and take in the day to day life of school.

We pray Father for everyone in our community, particularly those who have recently joined us.

May they experience a warm welcome and quickly settle into the routines of school life.

We ask this through Christ our Lord. Amen.
