The word “Rosary” means a chain of roses and the roses are prayers. The Rosary Prayer tells us about the life of Jesus and his Mother, Mary. In the Church, the month of October is, by custom, the month of the Rosary but people do use this prayer all the year round.
Around the College Chapel there are the 14 pictures of the Stations of the Cross. This prayer recalls the suffering and death of Jesus. It is the prayer that is used in Lent and Holy Week, but is used by pilgrims all the year round. This prayer brings great comfort to those people who carry a heavy burdens in their lives.
